When an Israeli agent is murdered in Rome, an American, Kate Gottlieb, comes under suspicion. In Jerusalem, Shin Bet agent Ari Yannai witnesses a contact between the Gottlieb woman and a Palestinian, Ayub Farid, who is a suspected terrorist.
